Exciting Opportunity for Young Riders
If your child shows promise in off-road riding, then the Junior e-Motocross Series by KTM is the perfect fit. Registrations for the 2024 season are now open, with the series kicking off alongside the MXGP of France on May 19, 2024. This is a great chance for young riders to experience racing while being up close to their motocross idols.
The series is open to riders on KTM SX-E 5 bikes, as well as the Husqvarna EE 5 and GasGas MC-E 5 models. Participants will receive clothing from KTM’s PowerWear range, giving them a professional look and feel when interacting with fans, friends, and family in the paddock.
The racing format consists of timed qualifying sessions to determine gate picks for two races. Points are accumulated throughout the races, with podium winners decided at the end of each event. The series is open to children aged six to eight, who must commit to at least three rounds of racing. With only 40 slots available, parents are encouraged to secure a spot quickly.
The series begins on May 19, 2024, in St. Jean d-Angely, France, followed by races in Germany, Czech Republic, and Switzerland throughout the summer.
The Junior e-Motocross series highlights the growing interest in powersports at the grassroots level, showcasing the resurgence of powersports with technological advancements benefiting riders of all ages. Electric motorcycles, like the Kawasaki Elektrode, are gaining popularity in off-road racing due to their user-friendly nature, quiet operation, and low maintenance requirements, making them ideal for young riders and parents alike.
